Overview

Promptice ("we," "us," or "our") operates a coding challenge platform where you can practice problems, run AI-assisted workspaces, and share public profiles. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with GitHub or Google, we receive your name, email address, profile image, and provider account identifier from the OAuth provider.
• Profile information. You may choose a public username, display name, and other profile details visible on your profile page.
• Activity data. We store submissions, scores, token and cost metrics, leaderboard entries, and workspace activity related to solving problems on the platform.
• Technical data. We collect standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, request timestamps, and pages visited for security, debugging, and reliability.
• Cookies and session data. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and maintain session state. See our Cookie Policy for details.

How we use information

• Provide, operate, and improve the Promptice platform.
• Authenticate users and maintain account security.
• Display profiles, leaderboards, and submission history.
• Run problem workspaces, verifiers, and AI harness integrations you initiate.
• Monitor abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations.

Third-party services

We use third-party providers for authentication (GitHub, Google), hosting, analytics, and AI tooling. Those providers process data according to their own policies when you use their services through Promptice. Code you run in workspaces may be processed by external model providers when you choose AI-assisted modes.

Data retention

We retain account and activity data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

Your choices

• You can update profile information from your account settings.
• You can sign out at any time; session cookies will be cleared.
• You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data by contacting us.

Children

Promptice is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date when changes are posted. Continued use of Promptice after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
